New Drywall Installation
New drywall installation starts with the framing. Before a single sheet goes up, our crew checks that studs are plumb, joists are level, and openings are square. If the framing is off, the drywall will telegraph every flaw straight through to the finished wall.
Fastening is where most installs fail. Screws driven too deep break the paper face. Screws not driven deep enough leave heads that catch the trowel during taping. We use auto feed screw guns set to the right depth and space fasteners per code.
Cuts and fits are the difference between a clean install and a sloppy one. Outlet boxes, light fixtures, vents, and corners all need to be measured, scored, and snapped without overshoot.
